If you are thinking about visiting us for the first time, we are excited to meet you!  Here a a few things you can expect.
  
 First we are a large church that sits in the middle of what used to be a cornfield.  Most people who come to Morning Star for the first time are surprised at it size, considering the area where it is located.  Over 1000 people attend our weekend services.

 Second, you may be taken back by the relaxed atmosphere when you walk in the door.   People tend to dress casually and laughter and conversation is more likely to be seen than people quietly entering the building and finding their way into the sanctuary.  We have a cafe and bookstore in our lobby along with several comfortable seating areas.  If you come early, free coffee is served prior to our 9 am service.  You can also purchase speciality coffees.

  Third, we have a great volunteer force. Morning Star isn't a church where you "sit on the sidelines."  We are all about serving our world and look for opportunities to make a difference.  We encourage both volunteering at church and in your community.  This is modeled by the leadership of the church.

 Fourth, we are excited about our faith.  You will feel it when you walk in the front door.  Expect happy faces!

 Fourth, there are people of all ages here.  We want the generations to come together, but you have to love young people to feel at home.  Kids and teens are everywhere

 Finally, we are a growing church.  We believe God intended for the church to grow.  We love welcoming new faces and seeing people experience an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.  Hope to see you soon!
