We consider supporting missions part of our DNA. Back in 1981 the decision was made to keep missions in the forefront and Morning Star began to "tithes" 10% of our General Fund offerings to missions. In those days our yearly budget was about $15,000. Today our budget is over $1,300,000 and we support missionaries all over the world. The 2008 monthly budget for missions is over $10,000 a month. Besides giving our finances, we encourage those who attend Morning Star to take a least one mission trip in their lifetime. Of course we have found that once you take a mission trip you want to go again. Our goal is to focus on both overseas and projects within the United States.
While some of the missionaries we support are in places we cannot disclose, many of them have their own web sites to update us on what is going on. Below, you will find links to those that are available.
