We had our first Kick-Off on January 16, 2007. That came after a six-month process of training leaders, preparing materials and prayer. We started with eight leaders, five of which remain, and have added many more to where we have nearly twenty now.
We have had several special events along the way. We have Communion twice a year. We have several fellowship events, including an annual Pork and Sauerkraut meal on New Year's Day. We have hosted a Christian musician and plan to have another concert in the fall of 2009.
We have seen numerous lives changed and have heard awesome testimonies of what God is doing. People who were hopeless now have hope. People who had no healthy relationships are now surrounded by others who help them grow and keep them safe.
